Setup & usage guide
Everything you need to start using your proxies — find your credentials, pick a protocol, and connect.
1. Getting started
After your payment clears, your proxies are delivered instantly to your order page.
- Go to Orders → open your order to see your live credentials.
- Each proxy is shown as host:port:username:password. Use the Format dropdown to switch to user:pass@host:port or other layouts.
- Click Copy on any line, or Copy all to grab the whole list.
2. HTTP or SOCKS5?
Your static proxies support both protocols on the same username and password — only the port changes. Use the Protocol switch on your order page.
Most users should start with HTTP. If a tool asks for SOCKS5, switch the protocol and use port 1080 with the same login.
3. Use in a browser
The easiest way is a proxy-switcher extension like Proxy SwitchyOmega or FoxyProxy (Chrome/Firefox):
- Add a new proxy profile → choose HTTP (or SOCKS5).
- Enter your host and port, tick "requires authentication", then enter your username/password.
- Activate the profile and visit ipinfo.io — you should see your proxy's IP and location.
4. Use in GoLogin / anti-detect browsers
- In the profile's Proxy section, set the connection type to HTTP (port 3128) or SOCKS5 (port 1080).
- Enter the host, port, username, and password exactly as shown on your order page.
- Click Check proxy — it should connect and show your proxy's exit IP.
The #1 mistake: a type/port mismatch. HTTP must use the HTTP port; SOCKS5 must use the SOCKS5 port. They are not interchangeable.
5. Rotating (residential & mobile) proxies
Rotating plans don't have a fixed IP list — you connect through a single gateway and control targeting in the username. On your order page you can pick a country, choose rotating (new IP each request) or sticky (keep one IP), and generate a ready-to-use endpoint.
6. Troubleshooting
- Can't connect? Confirm the protocol matches the port (HTTP↔3128, SOCKS5↔1080) and that the username/password were copied with no extra spaces.
- Authentication failed? Re-copy the credentials from your order page — they're case-sensitive.
- Works on one network but not another? A corporate/school firewall may block proxy ports. Try a different network.
- Still stuck? Open a support ticket with the proxy and the exact error — we'll help.
Frequently asked questions
Instantly in most cases — they appear on your order page as soon as payment clears. Occasionally a provider issues them a few minutes later; they'll appear automatically.
No — both are included on every static plan, on the same credentials.
See our Refund Policy. Because proxies are delivered immediately, requests are reviewed case by case via billing@echoproxies.com.
Renew manually from the order page, or enable auto-renew to keep the same proxies past their term — both use your wallet balance.
