This Privacy Policy explains how EchoTech Global, LLC, operating as "EchoProxies" ("we", "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use echoproxies.com and our proxy services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account: name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Orders & wallet: the plans you buy, quantities, locations, order and payment status, wallet balance, and transaction history.
- Support: the contents of support tickets and messages, and any diagnostics you choose to share (e.g., affected proxy, target URL, error messages).
- Communications preferences: the notification settings you choose in your account.
Information collected automatically
- Technical & security data: IP address, browser and device details, and an approximate location (country and network/ISP) derived from your IP. To secure accounts and prevent fraud we keep a record of account sign-ins, new-device verifications, and failed login attempts — including the time, IP address, and device used.
- Service-usage metadata: limited connection metadata associated with your proxy orders (such as timestamps, bandwidth/usage volume, and which product or gateway was used) for billing, fraud prevention, and abuse handling.
Payment information
Payments are handled by third-party payment processors (for example, cryptocurrency payment processors). We receive payment status and limited transaction references, but we do not collect or store full card numbers or wallet private keys.
2. Proxy traffic & logging
We keep only the minimal connection and usage metadata necessary to operate the Services — specifically to bill accurately, prevent fraud, and investigate abuse or violations of our Terms. This may include connection timestamps, bandwidth/usage totals, the product or gateway used, and the source IP you connect from.
We do not sell your proxy-usage data, and we do not monitor or retain the content of your traffic for marketing or profiling. We may access or retain additional information where required to respond to a valid legal request, to protect our network and other customers, or to investigate suspected illegal activity or Terms violations. Upstream proxy providers that fulfill your orders may maintain their own logs under their own policies.
3. How we use information
- Provide, deliver, and maintain the Services, including provisioning proxies and processing renewals.
- Process payments, manage your wallet, and keep financial and tax records.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
- Send transactional messages (e.g., order, billing, and security notices) and, where you've opted in, product and promotional messages.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations. Usage metadata is retained only as long as needed for billing and abuse handling. You may request deletion as described below, subject to records we are required to keep.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted access, and storage of secrets and API keys in protected configuration. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.
7. Your privacy rights
United States (including California)
If you are a U.S. resident, depending on your state you may have rights to know, access, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
EU / UK visitors
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability, under the GDPR / UK GDPR. Our legal bases include performance of a contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention), consent (marketing), and legal obligations.

9. Communications
We send transactional messages necessary to operate your account (order, billing, security, and support notices); these are not promotional and cannot be fully opted out of while you hold an account. You control optional notifications — such as proxy/order updates, renewal reminders, and offers — from Account → Notifications, and you can unsubscribe from promotional email at any time.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
We operate from United States and use service providers that may be located in other countries. If you access the Services from outside United States, you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from your own. Where we share personal information with providers in other countries, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a manner consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
