Abuse & Copyright Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026
EchoProxies, operated by KELLER WARDLE LIMITED, takes abuse seriously. This policy explains how to report network abuse or a copyright/intellectual-property complaint and how we respond.
1. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of our network, email abuse@echoproxies.com with as much detail as possible:
- The IP address(es) involved and the protocol/port;
- Date and time of the activity, including the time zone;
- A description of the activity and supporting evidence (e.g., log excerpts or headers);
- Your contact details.
Accurate, timestamped reports let us act quickly. We treat reporter information confidentially where possible.
2. How we respond
We investigate reports and may, depending on severity: contact the customer, suspend or terminate the offending access, forward the matter to our upstream provider, and/or report to law enforcement. We do not control the content of customer traffic in real time, but we act on credible reports.
3. Copyright & IP complaints
If you believe content accessed or distributed through our Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, send a written notice to abuse@echoproxies.com including:
- Identification of the work or right claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it can be found (URLs, IPs, timestamps);
- Your contact details;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
We handle complaints consistent with the New Zealand Copyright Act 1994 and applicable law, and may forward notices to the relevant customer or upstream provider. Submitting a false or bad-faith notice may expose you to liability.
4. Child safety
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. Suspected CSAM is removed from our scope of service and reported to the New Zealand Police and/or the Department of Internal Affairs.
5. Law-enforcement requests
We respond to valid legal process from competent authorities. Requests should be sent to abuse@echoproxies.com and must identify the legal basis and the specific information sought.
